N9NE Steak House
Stainless
steel and Lucite, silver mesh curtains and luxurious silver fabric on the
chairs are neat. As a counterpoint, there's a mix of dark walnut woods and
leather and suede furniture. When you enter, there is a comfortable lounge
for you to enjoy while you wait for the rest of your group. Central to the
dining room is the 16-seat round caviar bar where the elite meet to eat. A
24-ounce bone-in rib eye is a favorite as is the 22-ounce porterhouse and
the New York strip. There are exceptional fish and pasta dishes, too. |

China
Grill
Renowned in New York,
Miami, and Beverly Hills, China Grill brings its
unanimously praised "World Cuisine" to Las Vegas in one of
the hippest settings on the Strip. Don't let the name fool
you: though clearly Asian-influenced, China Grill entrees
feature an international palette of flavors and
ingredients. Virtually every dish is prepared on grills or
in woks with the freshest ingredients from around the
world. The dramatic presentation of spectacular
Asian-infused cuisine is served in generous portions meant
for sharing. |

Samba Brazilian Steakhouse
The
colorful décor captures the spirit of the theme, a Brazilian steak
house. Walking to the restaurant and seeing the brilliantly
colored fabrics on the backs of the booth is only an inkling of
Samba Grill's smashing interior. Central to Samba Grill's menu is
the Rodizio experience -- unlimited servings of marinated meats,
poultry and fish served by a parade of servers brandishing
machete-like knives. Among the long list of tropical drinks is the
house signature Caipirinha made with cachaça, a Brazilian
sugarcane liqueur. Buy this by the glass or, even better, by the
pitcher.

Firefly
Until
now, tapas -- bar snacks and savories that originated in
the Basque regions of northern Spain -- have been slow to
arrive in Vegas, in spite of achieving popularity in
larger cities. That may all change with the addition of
Firefly. With its green, sponge-painted walls, Dali-esque
chairs and backlit bar, Firefly has a certain style, and
the ever-changing menu and late-night hours are sure to
draw the attention of curiosity seekers and after-show
partiers. A few of the must-haves include babyback ribs
with a mango barbecue sauce, merguez (spicy lamb sausage),
old-fashioned steak frites (a skirt steak with some
Parmesan-dusted French fries) and, of course, fruity
sangria. |

Nightclubs |
TAO
The 10,000-square-foot
nightclub at the Venetian is modeled after the successful
New York City club of the same name. The nightclub is part
of the $20-million entertainment complex, which also
includes a restaurant, banquet facilities and ultra
lounge, all located under the watchful eye of Tao's
signature 20-foot Buddha. The nightclub features two rooms
- The Temple and The Emperor's Ballroom - with varied
music formats. There are eight private sky boxes equipped
with mini bars, espresso machines and banquettes featuring
secure purse drawers.

Tryst
You
descend the marble staircase leading to a lounge, complete
with its own DJ booth, tables and couches. The walls are
covered almost completely by mirrors and you see the plush
red velvet walls of the hall that transitions to the
nightclub. As you emerge from the hall, you can't miss the
club's centerpiece - a 94-foot waterfall. A dark-tiled
dance floor in the center of the club opens out onto the
patio, extending 15 feet over the water outside. Plush,
vanilla-colored seating lines the patio, which wraps
around the semicircular lagoon. Exclusive seating and beds
are available right next to the spectacular waterfall.

Studio 54
The
spirit of the legendary New York nightspot lives on in
this colossal 22,000-sq.-ft. re-creation worthy of its
predecessor. Studio 54 is decked out, to say the least.
The club features four bars, an over-sized dance floor,
juggernaut sound system, dazzling lighting, fog machines,
confetti canons, dancers swooping overhead on ceiling
swings, and photos from the original 54 on the walls.
There's a VIP area on the second level and semi-private
lounges capable of accommodating up to 400 people. It all
unfolds beneath the original Studio 54 moon that hangs
over the dance floor. Put everything together and you've
got the ultimate atmosphere of controlled hedonism. Just
what you'd want for a Las Vegas nightspot.

Golf |
The Legacy
The Legacy Golf Club
annually hosts the local U.S. Open qualifying and the
A.J.G.A. National Tournament. The 7,200 yard course
designed by Arthur Hills has multiple tier Scottish
fairways, rugged lava rock and large undulating greens.
Keeping with the theme of Las Vegas, the design of the
10th hole named "The Suits" is one to remember. Tee off on
this 193-yard par three from tee boxes shaped like a
diamond, heart, club or spade to a three-tiered green. We
believe that this golf course, coupled with scenic views
and customer service offer a pleasurable experience for
all our guests. |

Angel Park - Palm Course
The
par-70 Palm Course (opened in 1989) plays 6,525 yards from
the back tees with a rating/slope of 70.9/129. The shorter
of the two full-size courses, it nevertheless demands
solid shotmaking as it requires more forced carries off
its well-manicured tee boxes, and its par 3's are longer
than those on the Mountain Course. The 459-yard 10th is
one of the course's toughest holes, with its green
virtually surrounded by bunkers. |

Ghost Bar - Ultra Lounge
You're not floating-it just
feels that way in this futuristic ethereal paradise drifting high above
Vegas. Located on the 55th floor of Palms, the rectangular bar sports
12-foot floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides and the furniture is
highly stylized. As chic as the decor is, the real showstopper is the
view. You can get a 360-degree look at the Strip and its glittering
surroundings from the open-air deck. Step onto the 3' x 4' clear acrylic
panel and you'll see 55 floors straight down. If you've ever longed for a
room with a view, this is it. |
